Labels

Create colored board labels to categorize cards and filter your board.

Labels are colored tags shared across your board. Use them to categorize cards — by type, priority, area, or anything your team tracks — and to filter the board down to what matters.

Create and apply labels

Create a label

Give it a name and pick a color from the palette. Labels belong to the board, so once created they're available on every card.

Attach it to a card

Open a card and add the label from its Labels section. Attach as many as you need.

Detach when it no longer fits

Remove a label from a card at any time — it stays available for other cards.

Categorize and filter

Because labels are colored and consistent, they read at a glance on the board. Use them to group related work and to narrow the board to a single category when you want to focus.

Edit a label's name or color once and the change applies everywhere it's used — no need to update each card.
