CRM overview

A personal relationship manager for the contacts you keep across every project.

The CRM is your personal contact book inside Progress. Unlike everything else in the app, it's user-scoped, not per-project — the people you track follow you across your whole workspace rather than belonging to any one project.

The CRM — contacts with roles, filters, and list/pipeline views.

What the CRM holds

Each contact is a person you can enrich with:

  • An organization and their role there.
  • Tags to group people however you think about them.
  • A pipeline stage to track where a relationship stands.
  • Tasks and a history of interactions.

Where it lives

The CRM sits at the top level of Progress, alongside your projects rather than inside one. Open it to see your contacts, search across them, and drill into any person.

Because the CRM is tied to you, not a project, your teammates keep their own separate contact books. What you add here is yours.

Your contacts also feed other parts of Progress — meeting prep pulls attendee briefs from the CRM, and Scout can add or look up people for you.
