Card templates

Use Bug, Feature, and custom card templates with structured fields — and AI-fill.

Beyond a normal card, templates give cards a consistent shape — a set of fields your team fills in every time, so a bug report or a feature request always captures the same details.

Pick a template

Every project includes three built-in templates:

  • Normal — a plain card with a description and the usual sections.
  • Bug — fields for reporting a defect, like severity.
  • Feature — fields for describing new work, like priority.

Admins can create custom templates built from field types — text, multiline text, select, date, number, and checkbox — so cards match exactly how your team works.

Fill fields faster

Let AI fill it in

Templates support an AI-fill flow — describe the work and let it draft the structured fields for you, then adjust anything before you save.

Only project admins can edit the built-in templates or create new ones, from Settings. If a template you expect is missing, an admin may not have set it up for your project.
