Add and organize contacts
Add a person with their org and role, tag them, and set a pipeline stage.
Adding a contact to the CRM captures who someone is and how you know them, so the context is there the next time you talk.
Add a person
1
Create the contact
Add their name and email, plus an organization and role — for example Acme Inc. and VP Engineering.
2
Add context
Fill in notes, how you met, and any links or a website. These details give you (and Scout) something to work from later.
Tag and stage
- Tags — apply free-form tags like atlanta, fishing, sales to group people. Each tag carries a color.
- Pipeline stage — assign a stage to track where a relationship sits.
You can search contacts by name, email, organization, or tag — so a well-tagged CRM stays easy to sift, however large it grows.
Once a person is in place, add tasks, interactions, and reminders to stay on top of the relationship.
