Passwordless sign-in

Progress uses one-time email codes instead of passwords — here's why.

Progress is passwordless. Instead of a password, you sign in with a six-digit code sent to your email — the same flow whether you're new or returning.

How it works

1
Enter your email

On the sign-in page, type your email and request a code.

2
Enter the code

We email you a six-digit code. Type it in to sign in.

Each code is single-use and expires after a short window, so it can't be reused later.

Why it's secure

With no password, there's nothing to leak, reuse across sites, or reset. Your email inbox is the key to your account — keep that secure, and you're protected. If a code doesn't arrive or expires, see sign-in code issues.
