Change your email or username
Update your username for mentions; your email stays your sign-in identity.
Your username is the unique handle teammates use to @mention you. Your email is a different thing — it's your sign-in identity, the address that receives your one-time sign-in codes.
Change your username

Open Profile settings
Go to Settings → Profile.

Edit your username
Type a new username and save. Usernames are unique, so if it's taken you'll be asked to pick another.
Changing your username updates how you appear for mentions going forward.
About your email
Your email is how you sign in — every sign-in code is sent there. Because it's your identity, keep access to that inbox secure.
If you need to sign in with a different email address, reach out through support rather than expecting to swap it in Settings.
