Notification preferences
Tune which activity notifies you and on which channels, reason by reason.
Progress lets you decide what you're notified about and how. In Settings → Notifications you'll find a toggle for each kind of activity, with independent controls for sound, browser, and push.
Notification reasons
Each reason can be turned on or off per channel:
- Channel messages — new messages in chat channels you're in.
- Mentions — when someone @mentions you in chat or a document.
- Direct messages — new messages in a direct conversation.
- Replies & quotes — replies in your threads and quotes of your messages.
- Comments — comments on cards and items you're part of.
- Assignments & signing — cards assigned to you and documents sent to you to sign.
- Bookings — new, cancelled, and rescheduled bookings on your calendar.
- Project membership — when you're added to or removed from a project.
- All other activity — general project activity, which can be noisy.
Channels per reason
For every reason you can independently toggle sound (an in-app chime), browser notifications, and push (web and mobile). By default the directed reasons like mentions and DMs are fully on, while general activity stays quiet in-app.
