From meeting to action items

A complete flow — prep the call, run it, and turn the notes into cards.

Meetings are only useful if something happens afterward. Here's the end-to-end flow in Progress, from prep to a board full of next steps.

The flow

1
Prep with Scout

Before the call, open the meeting and generate a prep brief. Scout pulls context from across the project — recent notes, chat, cards, and past interactions — so you walk in informed.

2
Run the call in Progress

Start or join the meeting. External guests can join from a link with no account needed.

3
Let the notes write themselves

When the call ends, Progress produces AI meeting notes — a summary, topics, and suggested action items — and posts them to the meeting's channel.

4
Turn action items into cards

Move the action items onto your board as cards, with owners and due dates, so nothing slips.

Because notes, chat, and the board all live in the same project, an action item never has to leave the workspace to become real work.
