Spotify & music sources
Choose YouTube or Spotify as the music source; connect Spotify and pick a playlist.
Progress can play background music while you work. You choose the source — YouTube for everyone, or Spotify for a connected admin.

Open music settings
Go to Settings and find the music source options.

Choose YouTube or Spotify
YouTube works for anyone and stays free. Spotify is available to admins and requires a Spotify Premium account.
Connect Spotify

Connect your account
In Settings, connect Spotify and sign in. This is admin-only.

Pick a playlist
Choose a playlist or search for one to set as the playing context.
Why Spotify is admin-only
Spotify playback needs a Premium account and is limited to admins by design. YouTube is the source available to everyone, and it stays free and unpaywalled.
