Personal access tokens

Create, copy, and revoke personal API tokens for Siri and automations.

Personal access tokens let outside tools act as you — most commonly Siri Shortcuts driving Scout, or your own automations.

Create a token

1
Open your tokens

Go to Settings and find the personal access tokens section.

2
Create and label it

Create a new token and give it a label so you remember what it's for.

3
Copy it now

Copy the token immediately — it's shown only once and can't be retrieved later.

Revoke a token

You can revoke any token from the same Settings section. Revoking takes effect right away, so any shortcut or automation using it stops working.

One token, full access

A token authenticates as you. Store it somewhere safe, never paste it into shared docs, and revoke it the moment you suspect it's exposed. Create a separate labeled token per tool so you can revoke one without breaking the others.
